Dickey's Multi-unit Franchise Owner Celebrates Second Location

World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Hosts Grand Opening Event on Friday

GLEN ALLEN, Va., Oct. 23, 2012 // PRNewswire // - Dickey's multi-unit franchise owner Lisa Henshaw is excited to be celebrating the grand opening of her second location in Virginia. The Dickey's in Glen Allen will be throwing a smokin' celebration on Friday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be giving away $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches.

"We opened our first store in August 2011 on the south side of Richmond always knowing we would eventually open more locations," said Henshaw. "The West End was growing and we wanted to take the opportunity to bring our style of great Texas barbecue to the other side of the river."

At Friday's grand opening, customers will have a chance to enter a raffle to win free barbecue for an entire year and three winners will be chosen. This store is located at 9809 West Broad Street and the store phone number is 804-527-1318.

"We offer a true Texas barbecue experience," said Henshaw. "We smoke our pork and brisket for 14 hours overnight for an authentic pit smoked flavor plus we offer eight meats and 12 sides so we really have something for everyone, plus kids eat free every Sunday."
