US Sailing Team Chosen for 2012 Olympic Games

December 22, 2011 - USAlphaGraphics is proud to recognize and congratulate the U.S. Olympic Team—Sailing, which will be nominated to the U.S. Olympic Committee for approval. AlphaGraphics is the title sponsor of the US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics, from which the Olympic team has been selected.

American sailors converged on Fremantle, Australia December 3-18 to compete in the ISAF Sailing World Championship. The event served as the country qualification regatta where USA secured an Olympic berth in nine of the 10 Olympic events: 49er, Men’s RS:X, Men’s 470, Women’s 470, Laser, Laser Radial, Finn, Star and Women’s Match Racing.

“AlphaGraphics could not be more proud to be so closely affiliated with these world-class athletes. Our team of franchisees across the country strive to be the best in our class each and every day and we have sought inspiration from these sailors, who are now positioned to fulfill their dreams of representing the USA at the Olympics,” said Kevin Cushing, AlphaGraphics’ CEO. “To have contributed to these athletes’ mission to sail at the highest level of their sport is a true and distinct honor.”
