The fourth quarter of 2012 alone saw the addition of 15 new franchise contracts for the Aire Serv brand, seven new franchises for Glass Doctor, 15 new franchises for The Grounds Guys, six new franchises for Mr. Appliance, three new franchises for Mr. Electric, three new franchises for Mr. Rooter and nine new franchises for Rainbow International. In addition, nine franchisees purchased an existing franchise location and 27 established franchisees expanded their service territory.
New franchisees cite the franchisor’s proven business systems, marketing support, and unique corporate culture, including its Code of Values® as key factors in their decision to open a franchise with one of The Dwyer Group’s seven brands. In addition to the growth efforts spurring job opportunities, The Dwyer Group has placed heightened emphasis on growing both new and current programs geared toward helping military veterans, law enforcement officers, and fire rescue members realize their dreams of small business ownership. As such, the company celebrated passing the $1.5 million threshold of financial assistance to veterans through theVetFran program, which was founded by The Dwyer Group founder Don Dwyer, Sr.
