OKLAHOMA CITY - Jan. 30, 2013 // PRNewswire // - SONIC Drive-In is putting the odds in everyone's favor this Groundhog Day by offering a 100% chance of good news.

Groundhog Day marks the arrival of spring and the end of winter. It's the day where Punxsutawney Phil predicts whether spring is arriving early, dependent upon whether he see's his shadow or not. Customers can hedge their bets and stop by SONIC and have a Footlong Quarter Pound Hot Dog for half-price all day on Saturday, Feb. 2.

"SONIC Drive-In is taking the American classic one step further by offering four flavor-packed footlong quarter pound hot dog flavors at half price," said James O'Reilly, chief marketing officer. "These four flavors highlight the great tastes of regional favorites throughout the United States."

Customers can choose from the Chicago Dog, All-American Dog, New York Dog or Chili Cheese Coney flavor for their Footlong Quarter Pound Hot Dog, or try one of each, all at half the price.

SONIC's own groundhog will be taking questions and responding with predictions on SonicDriveIn.com from Thursday, Jan. 31, through Groundhog Day on Saturday, Feb. 2.

And to sweeten the deal, SONIC will be offering all four of its classic hot dog flavors in the Footlong Quarter Pound variety all February.
