Local Business wins ANY LAB TEST NOW's Franchisee Community Awareness Contest

Waco, TX (PRWEB) February 07, 2013 - The ANY LAB TEST NOW® Waco location won the franchisee contest by creating the most awareness in their community for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Day. According to the American Heart Association, one in three women die of heart disease every year. Heart disease can often be prevented with early detection through lab testing and a change in habits.

To help raise awareness about heart disease and encourage consumers to get tested, ANY LAB TEST NOW® in Waco went Red for Women on February 1st. “We are passionate about helping our local residents improve their health,” said Waco Owner Mark White. “This campaign was a great way for us to create awareness about heart health in our area.” The location decorated their store, ran educational radio spots and conducted a Facebook campaign which increased their Facebook fan base by eighty-six people. As part of this promotion, they gave free B-12 shots and $10 off of tests to all customers who wore red to their location.
