Dickey’s in San Ramon is Hosting a Smokin’ Celebration on Thursday

Nation’s Largest Barbecue Franchise Serves $1 Sandwiches to Local Community

SAN RAMON, Calif. - March 5, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in San Ramon is ready to serve the masses mouthwatering pit-smoked BBQ straight from their smoker. On Thursday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dickey’s will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches. Three lucky customers will win free barbecue for a year.

“We love being here and serving the San Ramon Valley,” said franchise owner Donna Schiano. “Our goal is to bring top quality food and friendly customer service to people who love barbecue. It’s exciting to see our customers enjoying our authentic barbecue and free ice cream.”

This new business in San Ramon is truly a family-run business. Donna’s husband, Louis, and their daughter, Eve, regularly work in the restaurant. Angelo Irizarry is the General Manager of the store.

Dickey’s hickory smokes their signature meats overnight in a smoker in each location, offering beef brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken, polish sausage and much more. A full line of traditional sides are available, including coleslaw, barbecue beans, potato salad, waffle fries and fried okra.
