Newk’s Express Café Debuts 4 New Pizzas

New Flavors Available for a Limited Time

March 14, 2013 // Franchising.com // Jackson, Miss. - This month, Newk’s Express Café launched four new pizza flavors. The pizzas - salmon, buffalo chicken, steak and mushroom and crawfish, will be available through the spring.

The salmon pizza features fresh dill, capers, red onion and a tangy dill sauce. The buffalo chicken pizza has cheddar, provolone, celery and zesty hot sauce. Grilled portabellas, caramelized onions and mozzarella top the steak and mushroom pizza. The crawfish pizza includes gouda, provolone, artichokes, red peppers and yellow peppers.

“Our pizzas are a fan favorite, and we wanted to spice up our pizza selection,” said Chris Newcomb, co-founder and CEO. “These new flavors are a fun way to surprise our regulars with unique options. We’re excited for guests to experience each of the new pizza flavors over the next few months.”

Newk’s Express Café provides an express casual dining experience and features a variety of made-to-order choices including fresh-tossed salads, oven-baked sandwiches, California-style pizzas, made-from-scratch soups and homemade cakes baked by Newk’s Bakery Company. A selection of wines by the glass and beer is also available at select locations.
