Maui Wowi Hawaiian Peoria, Illinois Turns One, Celebrates With Customer Appreciation Day

Coffee and Smoothie Franchise hits the one year mark and plans to celebrate with a day devoted to the customers who have supported the local business since it opened.

Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) March 27, 2013 - The Peoria, Illinois coffee and smoothie café, Maui Wowi Hawaiian, is turning one on April 26, 2013 and will be celebrating their first year in business with a customer appreciation day on April 27 to thank the community for their continued support. Local business owner and Maui Wowi Franchisee, Bryon Griffin, credits his customers for making the past year so fulfilling.

“I can’t thank the Peoria community enough. They have been so gracious and have made Maui Wowi their gathering place,” said Griffin. “We have groups who hold meetings here or who just drop by for a quick coffee or smoothie fix. It really has become a daily destination.”

Customer Appreciation Day will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 1-3 p.m. featuring a balloon artist, free samples, and a drawing to win coffees or smoothies for a year. Local radio station, 93.3-The Drive, will also be promoting the celebration during their morning show by giving away a $25 Maui Wowi gift card every morning from April 22-26. Griffin suggests following the store’s Facebook Page for daily insider deals leading up to the day of the event.

Maui Wowi, which is located at 9901 N. Knoxville Ave. in the Prairie Lakes Crossing Shopping Center, features a drive-thru window for easy morning coffee or smoothie pickup and also has an inviting indoor atmosphere with a semi-private meeting area. Items available include premium Hawaiian coffees and specialty espresso beverages, as well as all-natural, gluten-free, fruit smoothies. Griffin also sells a variety of food items such as oatmeal, smoothie parfaits, and baked goods.
