Buffalo Wild Wings Continues West Coast Expansion with New Design

San Diego Restaurant Captures Look and Feel of Stadium

April 01, 2013 // Franchising.com // SAN DIEGO – Buffalo Wild Wings®, Inc., today unveiled its second newly designed restaurant. The opening of its location in Santee, Calif., is part of the company’s expansion on the West Coast and the restaurant features a redesigned layout with details that bring the stadium experience to Guests.

“Opening our second restaurant with the new layout and design in San Diego is a perfect way to continue to expand our growing fan base in the West Coast,” said Sally Smith, president and CEO of Buffalo Wild Wings. “Sports are at our core, and we are always working to improve our restaurants and sports-viewing experience for our Guests, along with providing plenty of fresh hot wings and ice-cold beverages.”

The fresh new design features the game as the focal point. It captures the energy of a sports stadium as it brings together the essentials needed to create a social and interactive local gathering place for true sports fans. There is also an enhanced audio-visual system making the game day viewing better than ever.

To celebrate the new design and grand opening, the restaurant awarded the first 100 guests through the door with “Free Wings for a Year.” The promotion provides guests with a coupon book that includes vouchers for an order of six free wings for each of the next 52 weeks.

Many of the new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants opening in 2013, as well as remodels, will feature the latest design.
