Nation’s Fastest Growing Chain Opens Newest Location in Mountain View

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - April 2, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - What do Texas barbecue and innovative technology have in common? More than you would think. Dickey’s is bringing its innovative barbecue concept to Mountain View. The newest California location will open this Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m. The first 100 customers will receive a free mouthwatering Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

“Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn all have headquarters near our new location,” said new owner Alice Kao who owns and operates this location with Robert Edwards. “We offer a new option to the lunch and dinner mix and we can’t wait to bring our catering options to these facilities.”

Kao is originally from Taiwan and Edwards is from Visalia, California. The barbecue duo both have a passion for food and have always wanted to own their own restaurant.

“It’s been a very exciting process,” said Kao. “Especially watching our store come alive transforming from an old Mexican restaurant to a new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit with the community cheering us on every step of the way. We look forward to getting started.”
