ASHEVILLE, N.C. - April 8, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Dickey’s Barbecue Pit of Asheville is celebrating its grand opening on Friday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dickey’s will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and three customers will win free barbecue for a year.

Owner Fran Noel and her business partner Dorothy Elias opened this location in December 2012 and have made it a local favorite in the Asheville community. Noel worked as a Certified Public Accountant for 16 year and viewed opening a Dickey's Barbecue Pit in her community a great franchise opportunity.
