Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

April 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // Raleigh, NC - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, officially opened its doors in Raleigh on March 20. Franchise owners Richard Domanski, Lizbeth Domanski, and Matt Domanski held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 20 to Sunday, March 24 to support Alexander YMCA.

The new restaurant, located at 2712 Hillsborough Street, circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Alexander YMCA. Additional offers will be available in The Technician.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

The company uses only private labeled meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for each sub sandwich and piled high on in-store baked bread. Everything is quickly made to order for each customer, just the way the first subs were made at the original Jersey Mike's more than fifty years ago. This is the 3rd Jersey Mike’s location for the Domanski family. In June 1995, they opened their first location at 3088 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh. The Domanskis opened their second Raleigh location at 200 West Peace Street in January 2003.
