Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

April 10, 2013 // Franchising.com // Tallahassee, FL - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, opened its fourth in Tallahassee restaurant on April 3. Franchise owners Kimberly and Angelo Crowell held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, April 3 to Sunday, April 14 to support Florida State University Schools.

The new restaurant, located address 1970 Gainesborough Drive, circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Florida State University Schools. Half of these 5,000 coupons will be valid through April 7, with the other half being valid through April 14. Additional offers will also be available in the Tallahassee Democrat.

In addition, Jersey Mike’s will be hosting a State of Florida Employee Appreciation Day on April 3. All State of Florida employees are invited to visit the new location and will be offered a free sub for a minimum $1 donation to Florida State University Schools. All state employees must show valid identification.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

This is the fifth Jersey Mike’s location for the Crowells. In November 2010, they opened their first Jersey Mike’s location at 1801 West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee. The Crowells went on to open two additional locations in Tallahassee, as well as a location in Gainesville.
