Arby’s Appoints New Senior Vice President of Operations for Northeast Region
May 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of John Bowie to Senior Vice President of Operations for the Northeast Region, beginning April 29. He will report to George Condos, Arby’s Chief Operating Officer.
“John brings over twenty years of food industry experience to the table,” said Condos. “Most recently he held posts at Church’s Chicken, serving as President of U.S. Business Operations since 2010, and then prior to that serving as Senior Vice President of Restaurant Operations at Friendly’s Ice Cream Corporation.”
For the prior 13 years, John held several positions at Wendy's International in marketing, international and general management. In his most recent position at Wendy’s as Division Vice President, Mid-Atlantic, he was responsible for 700 company and franchise restaurants generating close to $1 billion in annual sales.
John received his Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is the father of four children and enjoys skiing, golfing, boating and college football.
