Nation’s Largest Barbecue Franchise Celebrates Grand Opening

LYNCHBURG, Va. - June 27, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Lynchburg is throwing a grand opening celebration this Friday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This smokin’ hot location will be serving mouthwatering Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches for just one dollar.

“In today's market there are plenty of options when it comes to dining out,” said owner Stuart Abbitt. “Dickey's is unique and we have something for everyone.”

Starting July 1, all participating Dickey’s will be offering the Racetrack Sandwich for a limited time. Dickey’s Racetrack Sandwich features tender beef brisket and flavorful slow smoked pulled pork topped with tangy barbecue sauce and creamy coleslaw, all featured on Dickey’s new signature bread.
