Baskin-Robbins Launches Ultimate London Soccer Experience Sweepstakes In New York Tri-State Area

Baskin-Robbins is Giving Soccer Fans the Chance to Win a Trip for Two to London and Tickets to see the New York Cosmos play the Leyton Orient Football Club on July 24th in London

NEW YORK - July 8, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, is kicking off National Ice Cream Month by giving ice cream lovers and soccer fans in the New York Tri-State area the chance to win a trip for two to London to see the New York Cosmos play the Leyton Orient Football Club through its Ultimate London Soccer Experience Sweepstakes.

From now through July 14 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, fans can visit www.nysoccersweepstakes.com to enter the Ultimate London Soccer Experience Sweepstakes. One grand prize winner will be selected, and will win round-trip airfare for two to London, hotel accommodations, two tickets to see the New York Cosmos play the Leyton Orient Football Club on July 24 at the Matchroom Stadium in East London, two thousand dollars($2,000) spending money, and two tickets to the New York Cosmos Legends Gala on August 1, where they can rub shoulders with some soccer greats.

There is no purchase necessary and the sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents residing New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and have a valid passport. The travel dates for the grand prize experience are July 22-25. Void where prohibited. One entry per person throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The Cosmos began play in 1971, spending 14 seasons in the North American Soccer League, winning five Soccer Bowl trophies and bringing some of the biggest names in world soccer to the USA. This included Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, Giorgio Chinaglia and Carlos Alberto. It's been nearly 30 years since the Cosmos, an iconic global soccer club, have played in a professional league.
