Maui Wowi Opens in Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Hawaiian coffee and smoothie shop opens at Grave's Crossing in Mount Juliet, Tennessee featuring sustainable materials and healthy beverages.

Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) August 03, 2013 - Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a flexible franchise concept specializing in serving premium Hawaiian coffees, handcrafted specialty drinks, and flavorful fresh fruit smoothies, has opened a new location in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Franchise owners and operators, Jim and Jeanne Morrissey have been eagerly awaiting this day, preparing down to the last detail.

The store is located just minutes away from Nashville in the Grave’s Crossing Shopping Center at 640 South Mt. Juliet Rd.Suite 200. The new shop is beaming with island flavor in a tastefully decorated environment, complete with cozy seating and natural light. The company used many sustainable elements to complete the look and functionality of this island oasis. The flooring achieves the warmth of hardwood but is made with environmentally friendly materials. The carpets are made from recycled airplane and truck tires and the countertop siding is made of Kirei Board; a material that is considered rapidly renewable. This means that the material can be renewed by natural sources within a ten-year cycle, therefore reducing its environmental impact.

The Mt. Juliet location is the latest Maui Wowi store to feature innovative green building materials. “The design efforts are strongly focused on using elements that are sustainable while creating an inviting atmosphere for customers to enjoy,” said Eric Richardson, Senior Project Manager at Maui Wowi Hawaiian.

The menu includes a variety of specialty coffee and espresso drinks that are made using freshly shipped coffee from Hawaiian Islands that can also be bought in whole bean or fresh ground in the shop. The smoothies are all-natural, gluten-free, fat-free, and Kosher Certified. Flavors include Mango Orange, Black Raspberry and Strawberry. There are also unique combinations with names like Whistful Waikiki and Black Lava Beach.
