US Franchise Organization brings Movement Education to Young Children across India

August 07, 2013 // Franchising.com // Melbourne, FL - Kinderdance International Inc. has been expanding since its founding in 1979. Kinderdance awards India expansion by honoring Kinderdance India Developer Kirthana Ramarapu’ as the Rookie of the Year.

“It’s wonderful to be expanding Kinderdance across India. For young children, movement, music and dance are natural tools for fitness, learning and communicating while expressing their feelings,” says Kinderdance Vice President, Karen Maltese.

Our Rookie of the Year has a passion for dance and a love for education. She is the executive director for Learning Parachute and the Kinderdance International India Area Developer and Franchise owner. Her love for education and passion for dance motivated her to work with young children. As a Certified Early Childhood Movement Specialist, she brings Kinderdance programs to young children on site at child care centers, preschools and other child care facilities throughout India.

In addition to teaching Kinderdance programs and area development, she is a leader and a strong advocate in her community on the importance of dance and movement for a child’s overall development. She hosts an open live discussion forum to help parents in India understand the impact of dance and movement on the overall personality of a child. She truly understands the power of marketing and how to work the public relations aspect of her business.

She has been interviewed by many, such as Blumberg TV India called “The Pitch” and the NEN Entrepreneur Academy. During the NEN interview, she shares “How mentoring can benefit your business” and here she has excelled. Since starting her business she has been continually growing her sales, student enrollment and expanding to different areas of India with sub franchises. As a Kinderdance Area Representative she has mentored and developed 9 sub franchises since 2009.
