Sky Zone Announces Final Eight Teams For Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship

$50,000 In Cash Prizes Up For Grabs In Las Vegas Championship Tournament

LOS ANGELES, CA - August 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ - Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, creator of the world's first all-trampoline, walled playing court has announced the final eight teams who will battle for the title and $20,000 grand prize at the Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship at Sky Zone Las Vegas. $50,000 in total cash prizes will be up for grabs at the Championship Tournament games on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. Sky Zone's Second Annual Ultimate Dodgeball Championship will be played on its patented trampoline court, combining high-flying jumps and leaps with the athleticism and agility of traditional dodgeball.

From over 400 teams across 30 United States and Canadian Local Qualifier tournaments, seven top-ranking teams were selected based on a series of key statistics such as winning percentage and player elimination efficiency. The top teams selected from the Local Qualifiers across the nation include "Doom" from Sky Zone West Covina, Calif., "Brick Squad" from Sky Zone Roswell, Ga., "Canuckateers" from Sky Zone Toronto, "BAMF" from Sky Zone Providence, R.I, "Invasion" from Sky Zone Springdale, Ohio, "The Eh Team" from Sky Zone Mississauga, Ontario and "Really Really Big Show" from Sky Zone Plainfield, Ind. The eighth team, "Grand Valley Dodgeball" hailing from Sky Zone Grand Rapids, won their Local Qualifier and secured a coveted spot at the Championship Tournament through an online vote in which fans chose their favorite team on Facebook. The Championship Tournament will feature teams of five versus five, with eight maximum members on each roster.
