Nation’s Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens New Location in North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - September 17, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Stacey Hart remembers eating at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit as a child. Starting Saturday, September 21 at 11 a.m. she will be the newest owner of the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The party kicks off on Saturday with $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from noon to 2 p.m. and a guest appearance by Charlotte’s Best Country 96.9 The Kat. There will also be a drawing for a $500 gift card good at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. On Sunday, customers will enjoy a day of merchandise giveaways. Monday the first 50 dine-in customers who purchase an item on that day will receive a Dickey’s gift card fully loaded with up to $50.

“My husband and I are both from Texas and grew up eating Dickey’s Barbecue Pit,” said local owner, Stacey Hart, who owns this location along with her brother-in-law Robert Hart. “When we moved to Charlotte last year, we knew Dickey’s Barbecue would be a great fit for the family friendly community.”
