Announcing the HomeTask Service Network: The Destination for People that Need to Get Stuff Done

The HomeTask Service Network will revolutionize the service industry by providing a one-stop platform that lets consumers find service based professionals in their neighborhood and allow service providers to promote their businesses to a larger audience of consumers.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 14, 2013 - HomeTask is pleased to announce the launch of the HomeTask Service Network (HTN). The HTN allows mom and pop locations across the country to generate leads and meet customers through HomeTask.com. The HomeTask Service Network will revolutionize the service industry by providing a one-stop platform that lets consumers find service based professionals in their neighborhood and allow service providers to promote their businesses to a larger audience of consumers. Since its inception in 2002, HomeTask has grown to offer five brands and over 150 locations across the United States. Due to the high volume of consumers already seeking out service professionals online at HomeTask.com, the HomeTask Service Network was the next logical step as it provides an existing springboard to small business service providers to meet new clients and grow their business.

HomeTask, now a multi-brand franchisor and online web destination, started as a handyman business that Sessler owned and operated on his own. After years of growing his business and working in the construction and home service industry, HomeTask CEO Jerrod Sessler came to believe that there had to be a better way for small business home-service professionals to advertise their services and for consumers to be able to find quality service professionals in their community. As a result of that desire, Sessler set his team of web developers to further this vision by creating an online community of service industry professionals that would extend beyond the walls of HomeTask’s approved Franchise Partners. Sessler hopes that the HomeTask Service Network will help service providers advertise their skills to local people in their community and grow their business’ profits. HomeTask already provides such a wide variety of features and functions for home owners to manage services around their properties; the HomeTask Service Network will offer these features to small business owners who do not have the time and money to create and manage such an intricate system. Sessler recently commented on the vision driving the creation of the HomeTask Service Network:

To join the HomeTask Service Network, a service provider will need to fill out a simple form, with a few contact questions attached. After signing-up, service providers will be able to select from a list of skill-based jobs that they would like to be contacted for and then when a consumer seeks out a matching job, service professionals within that consumers’ area will be listed as an available technician. Service providers will pay a few dollars each month in exchange for the benefit of being listed as a qualified HomeTask Associate provider. HomeTask already has built-in web traffic, a growing community, and robust technology to offer service providers who are considering joining the network.
