October 17, 2013 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – Twin Peaks, the mountain-lodge themed sports restaurant, raised $10,000 earlier this month for the Metamorphosis Fund in an event titled "Bratacular."
Omaha Twin Peaks Girls decorated bras to sell at auction with all proceeds going to the Metamorphosis Fund, a charity that raises money to help cancer patients and survivors with finances to help in their road to recovery. Some of the themes the bras displayed included PBS beer, the Nebraska Huskers Football team, and hippy flower girl adornments.
"We were really excited for the opportunity to raise money for the Metamorphosis Fund," said General Manager Jamey Holiday, "I set a high goal of raising $10,000 in one night. I promised the Twin Peaks Girls that if they hit the goal, I will dye my hair and beard pink for the month of October."
With the attained goal of $10,000 raised, Holiday stayed true to his word and his beard is now pink for the duration of October.
