East Coast Wings & Grill Chips in to Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

October 23, 2013 // Franchising.com // Winston-Salem, NC – For the fourth consecutive year, East Coast Wings & Grill is "chipping" in to support breast cancer awareness.

Aligning with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the North Carolina-based chicken wing franchise is inviting guests to join them in the fight against breast cancer by offering pink tortilla chips and salsa, as well as pink 12 oz. cups throughout the month of October. Each time a guest purchases the $2.99 chips and salsa – available at all full-service locations – 10 percent of sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In addition, 100 percent of pink cup sales ($2.00 each) will also be donated to the charity.

"For the fourth year, we are proud to come together as a company and support a cause that hits home for so many. Our goal is to bring families around great food to support an ever better charity," said Sam Ballas, CEO of East Coast Wings & Grill. "With more work to be done, we look forward to continuing our support for Susan G. Komen for the Cure."

Additionally, all East Coast Wings & Grill locations will participate in "Give Back Night" on Tuesday, October 29, where 10% of all restaurants’ net sales will be donated to the charity.

Last year’s "Give Back Night" raised approximately $15,000 system wide.

Dedicated to great-tasting, freshly prepared food for families, the growing brand creates a warm and inviting environment for communities to gather. While its 75 flavors and 675 combinations of buffalo wings remain the staple, East Coast Wings & Grill’s six-page menu incorporates casual dining fare including burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.
