Kincardine Fitness Centre, Fit Body Boot Camp, Gives Thanks by Hosting Successful Charity Boot Camp Food Drive

The popular Kincardine fitness centre knows as Fit Body Boot Camp celebrates Thanksgiving by collecting non-perishable food items for local food banks.

Kincardine, ON, CAN (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 - In an effort to say thanks and give back to the community, Kincardine fitness centre, Fit Body Boot Camp, hosted a Thanksgiving Boot Camp Food Drive on Monday the 14th at 10 a.m. to benefit local food banks in the area.

Wanting to do something special for the community in more ways than just fitness, owner of the Kincardine (and Goderich) Fit Body Boot Camp, Nadine VandenHeuvel, says she felt it was important to get involved because local food banks help many people within our community who may not be as fortunate as others.

She explains, "Our community loves helping out each other and I figured what better way to help out our local food bank than getting fit at the same time. It was just a small thing that I knew I could do to make a big difference. The food banks were so grateful for running the program. The weather couldn't have been better and it really created a positive buzz in the community during the week leading up to the workouts. I am so excited about the amazing turnout of people that came out to workout and help out the local food bank."

With 55 area residents coming out to support their community and get a free 45 minute full body workout at the same time, the Kincardine gym was able to collect over 300 non-perishable food items for the local food bank who recently announced an extreme lack of food.

Happy to be making a difference, the Kincardine Fit Body Boot Camp is also offer their very popular 14 Day Fat Furnace, normally priced at $67, discounting the program down to $25 and donating all proceeds the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.
