Twin Peaks Camelback Raises Funds for Families of Granite Mountain 19 Hotshots

Twin Peaks Bikini Car Wash and Raffle Raises Nearly $12,000

October 23, 2013 // // DALLAS – Twin Peaks Camelback held a bikini car wash and fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 5 to benefit the families of the Granite Mountain 19 Hotshots.

From 11 a.m. to close, Twin Peaks hosted the Phoenix community with activities to raise money for the families and to celebrate the lives of the 19 heroic hotshots who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect their community.

"It is times like these that the community needs to join together to support one another," said Kristen Jones Colby, Senior Director of Marketing for Twin Peaks. "Our warm wishes go out to the families of those Hotshots, and we hope to continue to help them in any way we can."

The Oct. 5 fundraiser included a bikini car wash hosted by the Camelback Twin Peaks Girls, a happy hour, reverse happy hour and a raffle with prizes such as Granite Mountain 19 HotShots T-Shirts, a Remington Deer Rifle and a set of Ping Iron Golf Clubs. Twenty-five percent of Twin Peaks Camelback’s total profits for the entire day of Oct. 5 were donated to the fundraiser, with nearly $12,000 raised overall.
