Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens New Arizona Location

TEMPE, Ariz. - November 04, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Dickey’s Barbecue Pit continues growth in Arizona. On Thursday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. the new Dickey’s Barbecue in Tempe will open its doors for business. The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card loaded with up to $50. The opening celebration continues for three days.

"I look forward to bringing an authentic barbecue restaurant to Tempe," said local owner Erik Forrest. "Dickey’s Barbecue is going to be a new local favorite."

Friday, customers will enjoy a day of merchandise giveaways. On Saturday radio station 102.5 FM gets the party started from noon to 2:00 p.m. and there will be drawing for a lucky guest to win a $500 gift card. This location will also be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches.

Erik Forrest has worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years. He owns Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on Thomas Road in Scottsdale and plans to open another location in the area.
