Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – October 24, 2013 - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, will officially open its doors in Madison Heights on October 23. Franchise owners Robert Middleton, Bill Biga, and Carl Chandler will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 23 to Sunday, October 27 to support Bishop Foley High School Athletics and Lamphere High School Athletic Booster.

The new restaurant, located at 40 East 14 Mile Road, will circulate 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Bishop Foley High School Athletics or Lamphere High School Athletic Booster. Customers must present a valid coupon to redeem this offer.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

Chandler added, "This location is extra special for me because this store will be managed by my son Adam Chandler. Adam is a Michigan State graduate with a degree in Restaurant Hospitality and has been training for over a year to be able to bring the real Jersey Mike’s experience to this location."
