Jersey Mike's Subs Opens in Ontario

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

ONTARIO, Calif. – October 24, 2013 -  Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Ontario on October 23. Franchise owners Esther Cuellar and Christine Davis held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 23 to Sunday, October 27 to support Bon View Elementary School.

The new restaurant, located at 1150 East Philadelphia Street, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Bon View Elementary School.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

Cuellar and Davis exemplify Jersey Mike’s quest for excellence as it selects franchise owners who share the company's commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service and who are dedicated to giving back to the local community. Since 2010, locations throughout the country have raised almost $7 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 500,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.

For the first five days we are open we will be teaming up with Bon View Elementary School to raise money to fund school activities. Esther and I are true believers in supporting our education system and we are grateful that our grand opening gives us a chance to give back to the community."
