Texas Pit-Smokin' Barbecue Comes to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - November 19, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Starting Thursday, November 21, Dickey's Barbecue in Lincoln will celebrate their new location. The first 50 customers who purchase an item will receive a Dickey's Barbecue Pit gift card loaded with up to $50. The opening party continues for three days.

"I'm excited about the continued expansion in the Lincoln community," said local multi-franchise owner, Will Carter. "People love the food and family atmosphere."

The party will kick-off Friday with radio station 98.1 FM from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and this location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches. One lucky customer will get the chance to win a $500 gift card. Saturday customers will enjoy a day of Dickey's merchandise giveaways.

Will Carter also owns two existing locations in Lincoln; this will be his third location to open. Carter looked into franchising opportunities and met with existing owners in the area and decided this was a great opportunity for him.
