Maui Wowi Spreads the Aloha Spirit with Holiday Coffee Donation to U.S. Troops Serving Overseas

Gourmet Coffee and Smoothie Franchise contributes coffee to Sister Souls, Inc. Holiday Care packages.

Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 - Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a franchise known for fresh fruit smoothies and premium Hawaiian coffee, has partnered with non-profit organization, Sister Souls, Inc. to send coffee to troops overseas. Together with roasting partner Coda Coffee Company, 78 bags of gourmet Kona coffee will be added to larger care packages being sent to service members currently serving in Afghanistan and are set to arrive around the holidays.

This is the second year that Sister Souls, Inc.has sent care packages and Maui Wowi Hawaiian has had the opportunity to participate in the donation both times. The organization, which is based in Lake Orion, Michigan, was founded in 2011 as a way to pay it forward through its support of great causes aimed at helping others in need. The holiday care packages are in honor of fallen Marine Staff Sgt. Raymond J. Plouhar from Michigan who was killed in action while serving his country in 2006.
