Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

December 5, 2013 - Birmingham, MI - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Birmingham on December 4. Franchise owners Robert Middleton, Bill Biga, and Carl Chandler held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, December 4 to Sunday, December 8 to support Birmingham Covington School and the Seaholm High School Athletic Booster Club.

The new restaurant, located at 33745 Woodward Avenue, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Birmingham Covington School and the Seaholm High School Athletic Booster Club. Customers presented the fundraising coupon to participate.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

This is the fifth Jersey Mike’s location for Middleton, Biga, and Chandler. In September 2012, they opened their first Jersey Mike’s location in Shelby Township. Middleton, Biga, and Chandler are the owners of additional locations in Rochester Hills, Farmington Hills, and Madison Heights.
