Restaurant Operator Celebrates Grand Opening with Free Subs

December 18, 2013 - Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Ft. Lauderdale on December 11. Restaurant operator Jordan Doery held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, December 11 to Sunday, December 15 to support the MS Foundation.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 6308 N. Andrews Avenue, hosted a 5-day fundraiser with proceeds supporting the MS Foundation. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution. Seventy five hundred coupons were distributed throughout the community.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.
