Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Lewisville Location

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

December 18, 2013 - Lewisville, TX - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Lewisville on December 18. Franchise owner Basil Hito held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, December 18 to Sunday, December 29 to support We Got Next and The Colony High School.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 4770 State Highway 121, hosted a 12-day fundraiser with proceeds supporting We Got Next and The Colony High School. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Ten thousand coupons were distributed throughout the community.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

I think that the grand opening fundraiser really speaks to the exceptional culture of giving at Jersey Mike’s. For the first twelve days that we are open, we will be raising money for We Got Next and The Colony High School to help fund education and support enrichment programs for our local youth. We can’t wait to open our doors on December 11 and we invite the entire community to take part in the Jersey Mike’s experience."
