Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First City of Industry Location

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

December 19, 2013 - City of Industry, CA - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in City of Industry on December 18. Franchise owner Gary Bates held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, December 18 to Sunday, December 22 to support the City of Industry Sheriff’s Station Youth Activities League (YAL).

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 18200 Gale Avenue, hosted a 5-day fundraiser with proceeds supporting YAL. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Five thousand coupons were distributed throughout the community.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

The company uses only private labeled meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for each sub sandwich and piled high on in-store baked bread.
