Hooters Reopens Five Texas Locations with New Contemporary Design
Lone Star State Hooters fans are invited to visit completely remodeled locations.
ATLANTA - December 31, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Hooters of America, LLC, today announced a fresh, completely remodeled look at five Texas Hooters locations: Hooters of Corpus Christi, Hooters of El Paso, Hooters of McAllen, Hooters of Spring and Hooters of Sugarland. With a fresh interior and exterior design featuring sleek and contemporary finishes, modernized furniture and technology and a more comfortable dining experience, the remodels represent the new image of Hooters.
"Hooters is proud to introduce the modern design enhancements to these communities, as they are among the first in the nation to experience the new look," said Mark Whittle, vice president of franchise development, Hooters of America. "The updates were all made with our guests in mind; we hope that local customers will celebrate the remodel as the ideal environment to kick back and relax after work, get together with friends to view their favorite sports teams and enjoy a delicious meal with their families."
From the moment they walk through the doors, guests will relish a brighter feel with more open space to encourage social interaction and beckon people walking by to come in and join in the fun. New design elements including high-back chairs and booth seating will surely keep guests comfortably seated for hours. Each location seats more than 220 up to 420 guests and ranges in size from about 6,000 to 9,000 square feet. The Corpus Christi and Sugarland Hooters locations also feature outdoor patios with additional seating, creating a spacious environment that is an ideal setting for group dining.
One element fans will be sure to notice is the centralized location of the bar area, which offers a full range of liquor, beer and wine options. The restaurants are surrounded by a series of large, high-definition televisions for more clear lines of sight to guests’ favorite sporting events.
The buildings themselves embrace a modern atmosphere, with a rustic undertone in order to maintain aspects of Hooters’ original beach oasis theme. The design features sleek finishes on the interior and exterior of the buildings, but there’s still a hint of the original architecture through the use of wood throughout each space.
In addition, the new Texas locations feature the expanded full menu, offering even more salads, sandwiches, seafood dishes and other delicious food options for guests to enjoy. Of course, Hooters continues to serve its world-famous traditional and boneless chicken wings with Buffalo sauce favorites, ranging in heat from mild to 911, as well as signature sauces and rubs, such as teriyaki-style samurai, lemon pepper and chipotle honey.
The remodeled Hooters of Corpus Christi, located at 4551 South Padre Island Dr. in Corpus Christi, Hooters of El Paso, located at 1170 Sunmount Dr. in El Paso, Hooters of McAllen, located at 410 East Expressway 83 in McAllen, Hooters of Spring, located at 120 FM 1960 W. in Houston, and Hooters of Sugarland, located at 12759 S.W. Freeway in Stafford, are now open. For questions or to request photos of the new locations, visit the Hooters newsroom at http://news.hooters.com.
