Rent-A-Center Franchising International, Inc. National Convention Continues

With Meeting of Rent-A-Center and RimTyme Franchisees
Future Growth Plans for Rent-A-Center Brand Franchising Discussed

January 22, 2014 // Franchising.com // FRISCO, Texas – Following an evening of celebrations and recognition for outstanding franchisees, Rent-A-Center Franchising International, Inc. ("RACFI", formerly "ColorTyme, Inc.") continued its 2014 National Convention on Tuesday, Jan. 21 with general sessions and a buying show for its Rent-A-Center and RimTyme franchisees.

"We are thrilled with the foundation of Rent-A-Center franchisees formed by many former franchisees of the ColorTyme brand," said Rent-A-Center Franchising International, Inc. Senior Vice President Cathy Skula. "We will now focus on moving forward with our growth plans, and know that both investors and rent-to-own industry veterans alike will be excited about joining the number one brand in RTO."

Presentations from RACFI and Rent-A-Center Corporate personnel highlighted the general session, with discussions surrounding support information for franchisees and growth plans for these brands.

Franchise growth is expected to be achieved by a combination of new investor groups and the addition of locations by current franchisees. The company also believes independent RTO dealers may have interest in converting to the Rent-A-Center brand.

Awards were given to both Rent-A-Center and RimTyme locations for outstanding operational performance, in addition to recognition for franchisee success in 2013 for both brands.

Wednesday will bring a close to the Convention with an operational meeting and Q&A session for franchisees with members of the Rent-A-Center Corporate team providing additional information about the support they will receive moving forward as RAC franchisees.
