Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Aiken Location

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

January 20, 2014 - Aiken, SC - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, opened in Aiken on January 8. Franchise owners Eric Clark and Jason Wren held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 8 to Sunday, January 12 to support the Southeast Firefighters Burn Foundation.

The new restaurant, located at 232 East Gate Drive, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Southeast Firefighters Burn Foundation.

“We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to open our doors and support a local organization,” said Clark. “Partnering with the Southeast Firefighters Burn Foundation has been such a rewarding experience so far. The money we raise during our five day grand opening fundraiser, along with our Month of Giving in March, helps people in our own community and victims throughout the United States who come for treatment at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital. Our customers have always been very generous in contributing and helping us do our part to make a difference in the lives of others, and that is what it is all about.”

This is the third Jersey Mike’s location for Clark and Wren. In October 2011 they opened their first Jersey Mike’s location in Grovetown, Ga. The pair owns an additional location in Martinez, Ga., that opened in April 2013.
