Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First New Lenox Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

January 20, 2014 - New Lenox, IL - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, opened in New Lenox on January 8. Franchise owners Mac Shimmon and Bud Patel held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 8 to Sunday, January 12 to support Lincoln-Way Central High School, Providence Catholic High School, and Lincoln Way-West High School.

The new restaurant, located at 527 East Lincoln Highway, circulated 15,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Lincoln-Way Central High School, Providence Catholic High School, or Lincoln Way-West High School.

"We are so excited to finally bring the Jersey Mike's brand to New Lenox," said Shimmon. "Partnering with three of the local high schools for our grand opening fundraiser is a great way for us to become connected to the community. Our plan is to continue building long standing relationships within New Lenox by giving back to different local organizations and causes. We invite everyone to join us in making a difference as we open our doors on January 8."
