Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Fleming Island Location

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

January 20, 2014 - Fleming Island, FL - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, opened in Fleming Island on January 15. Franchise owner Andrew Maider held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 15 to Sunday, January 26 to support the Fleming Island High School Athletics Department.

The new restaurant, located at 1647 County Road 220, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Fleming Island School Athletics Department.

"A friend of mine who is a New Jersey native himself was the one who sparked my interest in franchising with Jersey Mike's," said Maider. "Opening my first store in Fleming Island has truly been an exciting experience. The local pride and close knit nature of this small island is so reminiscent of Point Pleasant, which is where Jersey Mike's was founded. We look forward to opening our doors in support of this great community and we are hopeful that Jersey Mike's will be a great fit here on Fleming Island."
