Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Red Bank Location

Restaurant Operator Celebrates With Free Sub Fundraiser

January 20, 2014 - Red Bank, NJ - Jersey Mike's Subs, founded in Point Pleasant and a staple at the Jersey Shore, opened in Red Bank on January 15. Restaurant operator Lewis Thompson held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 15 to Sunday, January 19 to support The Community YMCA.

The new restaurant, located at 100 Water Street, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to The Community YMCA.

"Jersey Mike's was my first job in high school and since then I have worked in a number of different Jersey Mike's locations around the country," said Thompson. "Being back home in Monmouth county and continuing my career with Jersey Mike's is a homerun for me. This grand opening is a special opportunity for us to give back to the community and expand our roots here at the Jersey Shore."
