Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Waterford Location

Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

January 20, 2014 - Waterford, MI - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, opened in Waterford on January 15. Franchise owner Edward Semaan along with his son and operating partner Harvey Semaan held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 15 to Sunday, January 19 to support Kettering High School and Pierce Middle School.

The new restaurant, located at 4403 Highland Road, circulated 8,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Kettering High School or Pierce Middle School.

"It was the high-quality product and friendly atmosphere at Jersey Mike's that sparked my interest in franchising with this brand," said Edward Semaan. "A huge part of what we do at Jersey Mike's revolves around making a difference in the community. In fact, for the first 5 days that we are open we are supporting two local schools to help give back to our youth and fund student activities and programs."
