Texas Barbecue Coming to Aurora this Weekend

Dickey's Barbecue Pit New Colorado Restaurant

AURORA, Colo. - March 4, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Aurora kicks open for business on Thursday, March 6 at 11:00a.m. The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card for up to $50. Like their Facebook page for the most current information.

"We are looking forward to bringing authentic Texas barbecue to Aurora," said multi-unit owner John Thomson. "Locals will love our slow smoked barbecue and family friendly atmosphere – we also offer many catering options."

Friday, Dickey's Barbecue in Aurora will have merchandise giveaways. Saturday, radio station 98.5 FM will be there and this location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches from noon to 2:00p.m. Other giveaways include FREE barbecue for a year and a $500 gift card.

John Thomson is an Area Developer for Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Colorado, Idaho and Utah where he also owns multiple locations and has many more in development. Thomson is overseeing another location that is opening late March in Colorado Springs. Dickey's Barbecue in Aurora is located at 10551 East Garden Drive, Suite 106.
