Mr. Rooter® Franchise Consultant, Worthington, Attains Certified Franchise Executive Designation; Honored at IFA Conference

March 07, 2014 // Franchising.com // WACO, Texas – Dianna Worthington, franchise consultant for Mr. Rooter®, a leading provider of residential and commercial plumbing services in the United States and abroad, and a subsidiary of global franchise company, The Dwyer Group®, has earned her Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation.

The three-year program is a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE), an academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s Educational Foundation. "Continuing education is critical to stay current and relevant in your chosen industry, so upon joining Mr. Rooter Plumbing three years ago, I immediately registered for the program," stated Worthington.

After completing the program in an astonishing two years, the International Franchise Association (IFA) recognized Worthington’s continued dedication and commitment to the franchising industry by awarding her the designation of CFE at the annual convention in New Orleans, February 25, 2014.

"The courses presented by the ICFE has greatly helped my development as a franchise consultant, coach and trainer for Mr. Rooter franchisees," stated Worthington. "I encourage anyone with a goal of enhancing their career in franchising to participate in this program. Personal and professional development are necessary and valuable investments in your future."

More than 1,800 franchise executives are now enrolled or have received certification. More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program that provides benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.

Candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops. The program enhances franchise professionals’ understanding of the industry’s fundamental and complex aspects.
