Fountain Valley Fitness Center Sponsors Local Contestant David Secrest in the 3rd Annual Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant

Fountain Valley, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 - The local Fountain Valley fitness center better known as Fit Body Boot Camp is excited to announce the sponsorship of contestant, David Secrest, in the 3rd annual Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant. The pageant will be taking place on March 21st, 2014 at the Saigon Performing Arts Center with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and the pageant starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.

Owners of the Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp, local fitness and nutrition experts Zenia and Joyner, say they are thrilled that Secrest is competing in the pageant because he is not only representing the Fountain Valley Community Foundation as his chosen non-profit, but they believe he is a great community advocate as well as role model for others.

They explain, "We are sponsoring David Secrest with Fountain Valley Community Foundation. We chose David because he's an active member in his community and the organization he is representing. David is a positive role model and a key player in the Fountain Valley community. He is currently training at Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp, getting fit for the event and will continue with us thereafter."

Starting in 2012, the Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant was created as a way to get more people involved with their community. All contestants represent local non-profit organizations and 100% of the proceeds will go towards their causes. Contestants in the Mr. Fountain Valley Pageant will compete in categories such as Formal Wear, Talent, and Swimwear.

"We believe David should be crowned Mr. Fountain Valley because he plays a positive role in his community," says the Joyners. "David has been a pleasure to have at Fit Body Boot Camp, always encouraging others with his friendly livelihood. He continuously makes efforts to support his community with charitable events and through various community service projects."

Secrest, admitting the love he has for the Fountain Valley community, says he hopes to win so that the Fountain Valley Community Foundation can receive much needed funds.

He says, "The reason I am running for Mr. Fountain Valley is because I love living in Fountain Valley. Many of the residents here get involved to help one another grow and help those less fortunate. I am running for Mr. Fountain Valley to help the Fountain Valley Community Foundation raise needed funds to help our seniors and other non-profit organizations grow, but the great thing about the this pageant is it really does not matter who wins because all the charities the contestants represent benefit from it."

Secrest also admits that getting ready to compete in the pageant has been a great experience so far. He explains, "Helping me get into shape is Fit Body Boot Camp. By working out three days a week and watching what I eat it is helping me become stronger and look better for this competition. They also provided a meal plan. I am very glad to have met Sam and Zenia as they have a great way with people and my hope would be that their business explodes with them helping others meet their fitness goals."
