Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Columbia Location

Owner and Operator Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

March 27, 2014 // Franchising.com // COLUMBIA, Md. – Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Columbia on March 12. Franchise owner Danny Malamis and restaurant operator Cliff Brown held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 12 to Sunday, March 16 to support Young Life Howard County.

The new restaurant, located at 6630 Marie Curie Drive, circulated 15,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Young Life Howard County. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

"My goal, every day, is to have some fun at work," said Brown. "Working for Jersey Mike's gives me an opportunity to interact with customers and team members on a daily basis, and help make their day just a little bit better."

Brown added, "At Jersey Mike's, we aim to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. For that reason, we have teamed up with Young Life Howard County for our five day grand opening fundraiser. Much like Young Life, Jersey Mike's takes pride in developing our youth to be successful and contributing members of society and we are excited to support this cause."
