Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Holmdel Location
Restaurant Operator Celebrates With Free Sub Fundraiser
March 27, 2014 // Franchising.com // HOLMDEL, N.J. – Jersey Mike's Subs, founded in Point Pleasant and a staple at the Jersey Shore, opened in Holmdel on March 5. Restaurant operator Zach Fioretti held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 5 to Sunday, March 9 to support Holmdel High School and Raritan High School.
The new restaurant, located at 2143 State Route 35, circulated 6,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub with a generous donation of $2 to either Holmdel High School or Raritan High School.
"As a high school student, I began working at the flagship Jersey Mike's location in Point Pleasant Beach, said Fioretti. "I would have never imagined that my part-time job as a teenager would lead me to this point in my career. Serving as the operator for our first location in Holmdel is a great opportunity and I'm excited to help grow the Jersey Mike's brand in Monmouth County."
Fioretti added, "The Holmdel community is a great fit for what we do at Jersey Mike's. For the first five days that we are open we are raising money for Holmdel High School and Raritan High School. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the community by supporting local student programs and activities."
