Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Whitewater Location

Owner Celebrates With Free Sub Fundraiser

March 27, 2014 // Franchising.com // WHITEWATER, Wis. – Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Whitewater on March 18. Franchise owner Tom Sawyer held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Tuesday, March 18 to Sunday, March 23 to support Whitewater High School, Whitewater Middle School, and Washington Elementary School.

The new restaurant, located at 1116 West Main Street, circulated 9,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Whitewater High School, Whitewater Middle School, or Washington Elementary School.

"The Jersey Mike's model is all about giving back to the local community and serving a great product," said Sawyer. "As we build the Jersey Mike's brand in Wisconsin we will be creating opportunities to make a difference."

Sawyer added, "For our grand opening fundraiser we are teamed up with the Whitewater schools. Our goal is to support academic and athletic programs that motivate students toward achieving excellence."
