Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Springfield Location

Restaurant Operator Celebrates With Free Sub Fundraiser

March 28, 2014 // Franchising.com // SPRINGFIELD, Va. – Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Springfield on March 19. Restaurant operator Pat Foley held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 19 to Sunday, March 23 to support the R.E. Lee High School Athletic Booster Club.

The new restaurant, located at 7000B Brookfield Plaza, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to R.E. Lee High School Athletic Booster Club.

"A bustling community like Springfield is a great place for growing the Jersey Mike's brand," said Foley. "We are excited to open our doors and invite new customers to try our highly authentic product."

Foley added, "Our grand opening will focus around giving back to the community through a five day fundraiser. We have teamed up with the R.E. Lee High School Athletic Booster club to support student athletic programs. Our goal is to make a difference by funding high school sports programs that are so important to our youth and our community."
