Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Second Sarasota Location

Owner and Operator Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

March 28, 2014 // Franchising.com // SARASOTA, Fla. – Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Sarasota on March 19. Franchise owner Beth Kariofyllis along with her son and manager Matthew Kariofyllis held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 19 to Sunday, March 30 to support United Way Suncoast.

The new restaurant, located at 5867 Fruitville Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to United Way Suncoast.

"Before coming on board as a Jersey Mike's franchise owner, I was a regular customer at our local Jersey Mike's," said Beth Kariofyllis. "Through my experience as a customer I began to really believe in the product and the people that stand behind it. My son, Matthew, and I are just so excited to finally open our doors and welcome new customers."

She added, "Each Jersey Mike's opening is a chance to support a local cause through a grand opening fundraiser. We chose to partner with United Way Suncoast to help fund programs that extend education beyond the classroom and teach valuable life skills."
