Buffalo Wild Wings Hosts Community Day, Invites Guests to Help Raise Funds for Local Boys & Girls Clubs on April 9

Nearly 600 Restaurants Across the Country to Donate Portion of Total Sales to lLocal Clubs as part of Team Up for Kids™ Initiative

MINNEAPOLIS - March 31, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - As part of the Buffalo Wild Wings Team Up for Kids™ initiative, nearly 600 Buffalo Wild Wings® restaurants across the United States are inviting local Guests to join them for a Community Day on April 9. The restaurants will donate 10 percent of total sales that day to a local Boys & Girls Club in their community. Guests can support their local area Boys & Girls Club by dining at a participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, and may add a personal donation to their guest check if desired. Participating restaurants may also host a variety of fun Guest activities to promote Community Day in the restaurant.

"Community Day is a great way for our Guests to make a positive impact in their local community by joining us to support young people in Boys & Girls Clubs across the country," said Mary Twinem, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Buffalo Wild Wings, and the driving force behind Team Up for Kids. "Through Community Day, we can support a local Club in every community where we do business, and this local support is a valuable piece of our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and our efforts to bring youth sports into the lives of every child who wants to play."

Following an initial partnership in 2013 that raised more than $1.5 million, Buffalo Wild Wings recently announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) to continue an ALL STARS youth sports program across the country. The restaurant has committed a minimum $1 million annual donation to provide ALL STARS grants for Clubs to add or improve flag or tackle football and cheerleading teams. In 2014, Buffalo Wild Wings will give more than 25,000 kids the chance to be part of a team through the initiative. Additional donations will be raised through sauce and seasoning bottle sales and a variety of in-restaurant promotions.

Buffalo Wild Wings' commitment to helping make communities a better place to live, work and grow has always been a part of its culture. Since the first restaurants opened in Ohio, the company has supported local community and school sports teams. Over the years, Buffalo Wild Wings, its franchisees and Guests have given millions of dollars to local teams, local community and school organizations, and to support those in need. Buffalo Wild Wings Guests can support the Team Up for Kids initiative by donating at www.buffalowildwings.com/giving and BGCA online.
